Kapolres Payakumbuh AKBP Alex Prawira mengikuti upacara HUT TNI ke-75 yang diselenggarakan secara virtual di seluruh Indonesia yang bertempat di ruang transit Markas Komando Distrik Militer (Makodim) 0306/50 Kota, Jln. Raya Negara KM. 7 Tanjung Pati Kec. Harau Kab. 50 Kota, Senin (5/10/2020).
Upacara HUT TNI ke-75 ini juga dihadiri oleh Dandim 0306/50 Kota Letkol Kav Ferry Lahe, Bupati Kabupaten 50 Kota Irfendi Arbi, Wakil Walikota Payakumbuh H. Erwin Yunaz, Kapolres 50 Kota AKBP Trisno Eko Santoso, Kapolres Payakumbuh AKBP Alex Prawira, Dandenzipur 2/PS Kapten Czi Yogi H, Kajari Payakumbuh Suwarsono, Ketua PN Tanjung Pati Heri Cahyono, Ketua PN Payakumbuh Kurniawan Widjanarko, dan Ketua DPRD Kota Payakumbuh Hamdi Agus.
Upacara yang dilaksanakan secara virtual tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo dari Istana Negara dengan menerapkan Protokol Kesehatan.
Kapolres Payakumbuh menuturkan, upacara HUT TNI yang ke-75 tahun ini digelar secara virtual mengingat dimana sekarang ini masih dalam pandemi covid-19.
Setelah upacara virtual selesai, kemudian Kapolres beserta jajaran menyerbu ruangan tempat Dandim 0306/50 Kota, ada dua kue bertuliskan Dirgahayu TNI ke-75 yang dibawa oleh personel Polres sebagai kejutan untuk Dandim.
Kejutan itu juga membuat seluruh Unsur Forum Komunikasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) dua daerah terperanjat, termasuk Bupati Limapuluh Kota Irfendi Arbi dan Ketua DRPD Kota Payakumbuh Hamdi Agus saat itu.
Bersama-sama, mereka meniup lilin kue tanda merayakan HUT TNI tahun ini dengan tema “Sinergi Untuk Negeri”, berlangsung khidmad sesuai dengan kutipan Panglima TNI Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto, pada portal resmi TNI, bertekad membangun prajurit yang profesional, disiplin, militan, dan rendah hati.
Selesai upacara dan perayaan HUT TNI ke-75 tersebut, Kapolres Payakumbuh AKBP Alex Prawira langsung memberikan ucapan selamat kepada Dandim 0306/50 Kota Letkol Kav Ferry Lahe beserta jajarannya.
